The meetings are being held as part of the nationwide patriotic initiative \u201cA Letter About Belarus,\u201d which is taking place in preschool education institutions.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe goal of these meetings is to instill in the youngest citizens a sense of pride in their country, develop national self-awareness, and foster respect for the law, state symbols and the historical heritage of the Belarusian people,\u201d<\/em> the Hrodna Regional Prosecutor\u2019s Office <a href=\"https:\/\/prokuratura.gov.by\/ru\/media\/sobytiya-i-meropriyatiya\/rodina-nachinaetsya-05102026\/\">reports<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Using the Smarhon Preschool Child Development Center as an example, the prosecutor\u2019s office described how the patriotic meetings are conducted.<\/p>\n<p>Prosecutors tell children that love for one\u2019s homeland begins in the family with respect for elders and preserving traditions. The state is compared to a family that, like parents at home, establishes laws in the country.<\/p>\n<p>Children are told about the national coat of arms and flag, as well as the Great Patriotic War.<\/p>\n<p>At the Smarhon Preschool Child Development Center, the children sang the national anthem together with the district deputy prosecutor.
