The former security forces initiative BELPOL<\/a> has uncovered and published documents on a contract between the Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant (MZKT OJSC) and Moscow-based Defense Systems JSC.<\/p>\n

The contract provides for the delivery of 30 wheeled chassis in 2027\u20132029: 20 MZKT-8021-021 chassis, as well as five MZKT-8022-021 and five MZKT-80211-021 chassis. The contract is worth $10.645 million.<\/p>\n

BELPOL notes that the MZKT-8021\/8022 chassis were developed to accommodate components of the Pechora-2M (S-125) surface-to-air missile system and were later also used for air defense systems and radar stations.<\/p>\n
