One Moldovan police officer sustained minor injuries, and the checkpoint control booth was also damaged. There were no other casualties.<\/p>\n<p>The incident occurred at around 9:38 a.m. The Palanca\u2013Maiaki\u2013Udobne border crossing was temporarily closed.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;The Border Police, together with the Customs Service, are constantly monitoring the situation in order to resolve it and maintain communication with the competent authorities of Ukraine.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Citizens are strongly advised to refrain from traveling to this area and, in the event of drones or explosions being detected near the border, to remain calm, take shelter in a safe place, including in their homes, and rely exclusively on information provided by the authorities,&#8221;<\/em> the police said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Russian shell hit a passenger bus at the Ukraine-Moldova border this morning.
