Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/truthsocial.com\/@realDonaldTrump\/posts\/117382615512488588\">wrote<\/a> about this on his Truth Social account.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI am pleased to announce that John Coale, Esq., a great lawyer and my incredibly successful Envoy for Belarus, will be my new Nominee for Special Presidential Envoy for Hostage Affairs, with the rank of Ambassador. John has already\u00a0secured the return of over 65 Americans and Allied Citizens from Belarus over the last year, and\u00a0negotiated the release of more than 800 political prisoners from multiple countries in Eastern Europe.\u00a0He will work tirelessly in this new post to bring\u00a0American Citizens home,\u201d<\/em> the U.S. leader wrote.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adam Boehler<\/strong>, who has worked on hostage-release issues, will continue as a senior adviser and assist on other matters.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cAdam Boehler, who has done an incredible job,\u00a0bringing\u00a0back\u00a0196 hostages, will continue to assist in other\u00a0matters, as Senior Advisor.
