Belarus understands very well how difficult this process was,\u201d<\/em> the Lukashenka press service <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/pul_1\/22912\">quoted<\/a> him as saying. <em>\u201cAfter the end of World War II, which brought death and grief to millions of Belarusians, significant progress was made in reconciling our peoples and laying the foundation for peaceful coexistence and cooperation.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>According to Lukashenka, the actions of <em>\u201ccertain politicians\u201d<\/em> in Germany and other Western countries <em>\u201cundermine the achievements\u201d<\/em> of previous years. He expressed hope that the people of Belarus and Germany would be able to overcome current challenges and <em>\u201cdefend their right to live and be friends\u201d<\/em> in a peaceful Europe.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cOur country has always been and remains open to constructive dialogue.
