She was added to the list in April 2024 as a director of the Cyprus-based company Centuronic Ltd.<\/p>\n<p>At the time, a <a href=\"https:\/\/home.treasury.gov\/news\/press-releases\/jy2251\">US Treasury Department statement<\/a> said that Centuronic was part of a network linked to Iraq\u2019s Black Shield Company for General Trading, owned by businessmen <strong>Samer Rayy<\/strong>a and <strong>Mohamad Majd Deiry<\/strong>. The network was involved in selling weapons, including those acquired from the sanctioned Belarusian small-arms manufacturer Kidma Tech.<\/p>\n<p>No reason has been given for Protopovich\u2019s removal from the sanctions list.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The US Treasury Department\u2019s Office of Foreign Assets Control removed a Belarusian citizen from its sanctions list.
