Changes were also made in Lukashenka\u2019s administration and the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade.<\/p>\n<p>A new director was also appointed to the Belarusian Institute of Strategic Research (BISR). The post went to <strong>Andrei Kuntsevich<\/strong>, who previously served as first deputy minister of information. He joined the Ministry of Information from Lukashenka\u2019s administration, where he oversaw ideological affairs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Aleh Dyachenka<\/strong> was appointed commissioner for religious and ethnic affairs. Previously, he was a member of the House of Representatives, where he served as deputy chairman of the Standing Commission on International Affairs.<\/p>\n<p>First Deputy Chairman of the State Control Committee <strong>Dzmitry Basko<\/strong> has been transferred to the State Committee for Standardization, where he was appointed chairman.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, <strong>Yaraslau Charkaski<\/strong>\u00a0was appointed ambassador to Syria and Jordan concurrently.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Siarhei Hunko<\/strong> was appointed director general of the Belarusian State Association for the Collection, Processing and Supply of Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metal Scrap and Waste, and director general of Belvtorchermet OJSC.
