Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 170 strike drones overnight on September 27, including 76 jet-powered Shahed drones, the Ukrainian Air Force reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n

According to the Ukrainian side, air defenses shot down or suppressed 147 drones. The attacks were launched from the directions of Orel, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Shatalovo in Russia, as well as from occupied areas of Donetsk Region and Crimea.<\/p>\n

Hits by aerial attack weapons were recorded at 18 locations, while debris from downed drones fell at another eight.<\/p>\n

One person was killed in Kyiv as a result of the attack. According to the Ukrainian State Emergency Service report<\/a>, a drone struck a one-story car service building in the Solomianskyi district, causing a fire. Rescuers prevented the fire from spreading to a nearby catering establishment. In the Shevchenkivskyi district, a non-residential building was hit. During firefighting operations, rescuers found the body of a man. Three people were also injured, including a woman and two 16-year-old teenagers. They were hospitalized.<\/p>\n

One person was killed<\/a> and two others were injured in Odesa Region as a result of the massive attack. A production workshop, storage facilities and trucks were damaged, and a large fire broke out. In another part of the region, the facades and windows of a hotel, a medical facility building, a shop and a two-story residential building were damaged.<\/p>\n

A man was killed<\/a> and four other people were injured in the Zaporizhzhia district as a result of the overnight attack. Ten residential buildings were damaged, while one house was completely destroyed and caught fire. In the morning, Russia attacked one of the district’s settlements again. During a search of the area, rescuers found and rescued a woman who had become trapped in an apartment.<\/p>\n
