It fell by 4.9%, or 119.4 rubles, compared with July.<\/p>\n<p>Real average wages in the public sector increased by 10.6% in January-August. The data was published by Belstat.<\/p>\n<p>In August, the ratio of salaries in public-sector organizations to the national average was 74.4%.<\/p>\n<p>The average salaries of public-sector workers in August were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>in public administration \u2014 3,679.2 rubles (-430.8 rubles from the previous month),<\/li>\n<li>teachers \u2014 2,650.8 rubles (-87.7 rubles),<\/li>\n<li>preschool educators \u2014 1,981.7 rubles (-99.8 rubles),<\/li>\n<li>academic teaching staff \u2014 2,974.3 rubles (-385.8 rubles),<\/li>\n<li>doctors \u2014 4,412.1 rubles (-222.1 rubles),<\/li>\n<li>mid-level medical staff \u2014 2,409.4 rubles (-70.5 rubles).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The average nominal gross salary of public-sector workers in Belarus was 2,331.6 rubles in August before taxes.
