The data was reported by Belstat. Despite the decline in August, the salary remained above the June level.<\/p>\n<p>In real terms, adjusted for inflation, the average salary nationwide increased by 8.1% compared with August last year.<\/p>\n<p>In Minsk, the average salary in August was 4,032.8 rubles, down by 83.6 rubles from the previous month. In real terms, the capital&#8217;s average salary increased by 6.4% over the year. In the Minsk region, the average salary in August exceeded 3,200 rubles. In the Hrodna and Brest regions, it was above 2,800 rubles. The lowest average salary was recorded in the Mahiliou region. It amounted to 2,655.8 rubles, representing a real increase of 8.6% over the year.<\/p>\n<p>Employees in passenger air transport topped the salary ranking in August. Their average salary was 8,653 rubles, down by almost 2,000 rubles compared with July. They were followed by IT professionals with 7,894.5 rubles, and employees in auxiliary activities related to financial services and insurance with 7,821.1 rubles.<\/p>\n<p>According to Belstat, the lowest salaries among industries in August were paid to employees of hairdressing and beauty salons. Their average salary was 1,863.7 rubles. Employees of museums, libraries and archives earned 1,851.8 rubles, while those engaged in creative activities and entertainment earned 1,960.8 rubles.<\/p>\n<p>Average earnings in crop production amounted to 3,196.5 rubles in August, while those in livestock farming stood at 2,658.1 rubles.
