Homiel municipal services are operating in a state of heightened readiness today. The city executive committee reported this. The reason is heavy rain. Forecasters have issued an orange weather warning for today.<\/p>\n

“A municipal services vehicle is operating on Barykina Street near School No. 3. Specialists are dealing with the aftermath of the heavy rain and clearing the flooding. Water is being pumped out so that residents of the regional center can travel and walk around without hindrance”<\/em>, the statement said.<\/p>\n
