The damage amounted to more than 2 million rubles.<\/p>\n<p>The call center operated under the guise of international companies.<\/p>\n<p>According to investigators, an organized group created a network of fake brokerage platforms, copied the style of real companies and defrauded foreign nationals by promising &#8220;guaranteed income.&#8221; The group used forged documents, CRM systems, IP telephony and psychological pressure, including urgency, intimidation, &#8220;special operations&#8221; and fictitious checks.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;In reality, the so-called earnings existed only as a carefully constructed illusion. Using specialized software, the perpetrators simulated the operation of trading services, created pseudo-charts and displayed &#8220;capital growth,&#8221; while maintaining full control over the image the person saw on the screen&#8221;<\/em>, the Investigative Committee said.<\/p>\n<p>Assets belonging to the defendants worth about 2 million rubles have been seized.
