This time, the measures have begun in the Air Force and Air Defense Forces, BelTA reports.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe Air Force and Air Defense Forces perform combat duty and protect the air borders not only of our country but also the external perimeter of the Union State in peacetime. Therefore, they must always be ready to carry out tasks that arise unexpectedly and protect critical facilities,\u201d<\/em> State Secretary of the Security Council <strong>Aliaksandr Valfovich<\/strong> said.<\/p>\n<p>Valfovich recalled that similar checks have already <a href=\"https:\/\/reform.news\/en\/readiness-check-begins-in-interior-ministry-s-internal-troops-on-lukashenka-s-orders\">taken place in the Interior Ministry&#8217;s Internal Troops<\/a> and in one of the <a href=\"https:\/\/reform.news\/en\/belarus-puts-tank-battalion-on-alert-as-part-of-readiness-check\">tank battalions of a mechanized brigade<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe check of the Armed Forces and other structures of the state&#8217;s military organization is continuing. We recently completed a check of the Interior Ministry. Just last week, one of the tank battalions of a mechanized brigade underwent a surprise check. By the way, they handled the tasks quite well. A more detailed analysis is still under way.
