He was found guilty of receiving large and especially large bribes, the Prosecutor General\u2019s Office reports.<\/p>\n<p>According to the prosecution, from July 1, 2019, to May 28, 2025, the former manager received about 1.8 million rubles from representatives of private organizations in cash and cryptocurrency. The money was paid in exchange for arranging purchases of complex food additives and ensuring their continued use in the meat plant\u2019s production operations.<\/p>\n<p>The defendant voluntarily repaid the proceeds of crime and fulfilled other obligations under a pre-trial cooperation agreement.<\/p>\n<p>The court sentenced the man to seven years in prison and a fine of 5,000 base units \u2014 225,000 rubles. He was also banned for five years from holding positions involving organizational, administrative or economic management duties.<\/p>\n<p>The verdict has not yet entered into force and may be appealed.<\/p>\n<p>The Prosecutor\u2019s Office previously shared <a href=\"https:\/\/reform.news\/en\/former-hrodna-meat-processing-plant-director-to-stand-trial-over-1-8-million-rouble-bribes\">details of the case<\/a>. The defendant is the former director of OJSC Hrodna Meat Plant, <strong>Aleh Ivanou<\/strong>.
