The Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade (MART) inspected the work of 13 public service centers, where specialists monitored more than 60 facilities providing household services. As the ministry\u2019s press service reported<\/a>, violations of the law were found at 40% of them.<\/p>\n

The most common violations were the absence of information about service completion times and the service provider\u2019s telephone number, as well as a copy of the certificate confirming inclusion in the state information resource, the \u201cRegister of Household Services of the Republic of Belarus.\u201d<\/p>\n

Following the monitoring, the entities were issued recommendations to eliminate the violations. In addition, MART specialists issued two orders banning the storage of goods past their expiration dates. The products included nail polish and a product for removing salt stains.<\/p>\n

The ministry also drew attention to the \u201coutdated appearance\u201d of some public service centers.<\/p>\n

\u201cUpon entering, consumers often encounter dim lighting, chaotic signs and cramped outlets whose interiors have not been changed for decades. In an era when consumers have become accustomed to a high level of service, digitalization and aesthetically pleasing spaces, this format requires visual changes,\u201d<\/i> MART said.<\/p>\n
