Also attending the meeting were <strong>Yury Mielashkevich<\/strong>, the initiator of the campaign to install the white-red-white flag at the Grunwald battlefield, and Tsikhanouskaya&#8217;s chief adviser <strong>Franak Via\u010dorka<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Tsikhanouskaya thanked Drej for supporting the initiative aimed at making the participation of warriors from the territories of present-day Belarus in the Battle of Grunwald and the annual commemorative events more visible, <a href=\"https:\/\/tsikhanouskaya.org\/be\/news\/belaruski-audyyagid-i-udzel-u-grunvaldskih-urachystasczyah-czihanouskaya-i-dyrektar-muzeya-damovilisya-pra-supraczounicztva.html\">reports<\/a> Tsikhanouskaya&#8217;s Office.<\/p>\n<p><i>\u201cThe Battle of Grunwald is one of the most important events in our history. It reminds us that Belarusian history is an integral part of European history,\u201d<\/i> Tsikhanouskaya said.<\/p>\n<p>Tsikhanouskaya said cooperation with the museum would make the Belarusian presence at the Grunwald battlefield more visible and strengthen ties between Belarusians, Poles, Lithuanians and Ukrainians.<\/p>\n<p>The sides agreed on long-term cooperation, the preparation of a Belarusian-language version of the audio guide, and the participation of representatives of Belarusian democratic forces in international museum events together with partners from Poland, Lithuania and Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>By the next anniversary of the battle in July 2027, the parties plan to expand the participation of the Belarusian community and Belarusian historical reenactors in events at the Grunwald battlefield.<\/p>\n<p>The participants also discussed the possibility of installing a memorial sign at the battlefield dedicated to warriors from the territories of present-day Belarus and a flagpole bearing the white-red-white flag. The Grunwald battlefield has the status of a historic monument in Poland.
