The Reform.news editorial team has learned the full list of 25 people released on September 16, 2026, as a result of the efforts of U.S. presidential envoy John Coale<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The following Belarusian political prisoners have been released:<\/p>\n

    The political prisoners released today were taken to Lithuania.<\/p>\n

    As a reminder, following negotiations between Aliaksandr Lukashenka<\/strong> and U.S. presidential envoy John Coale, the Belarusian authorities promised to release 25 people in exchange for the lifting of sanctions on Lakokraska and Bellesbumprom<\/a>. Coale also said that the release of political prisoners and the lifting of sanctions would continue<\/a>.<\/p>\n
