No one even knew. Viktar called him up. He is serving in the army, as required, like everyone else. A lieutenant. I won\u2019t say where, but in the most difficult unit,\u201d<\/em> he said.<\/p>\n<p>The anonymous Telegram channel <strong>\u201cNevolfovich\u201d<\/strong>, which is close to the Defense Ministry, decided to use the fact to ridicule opponents of the Belarusian ruler.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cLokhushko was wondering whether Mikalai Lukashenka would join the army, and today he got his answer! So, you draft dodgers, did you get that?\u201d<\/em> the channel\u2019s anonymous authors wrote, attaching an excerpt from a YouTube program by opposition politician <strong>Pavel Latushka<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 1280px;\" class=\"wp-video\"><video class=\"wp-video-shortcode\" id=\"video-576180-1\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" preload=\"metadata\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"video\/mp4\" src=\"https:\/\/reform.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/0911.mp4?_=1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/reform.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/0911.mp4\">https:\/\/reform.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/0911.mp4<\/a><\/video><\/div>\n<p>The military propagandists\u2019 message reads as though Mikalai was sent to the army to spite Latushka.<\/p>\n<p>To be fair, the question of Mikalai\u2019s military service after graduating from university was first raised by the authors of the program \u201cSasha, What Are You Talking About?!\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=eaOckYsAbYQ&amp;t=2980s\">on July 7, 2026<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Belarusian propaganda gave an unusual interpretation to yesterday\u2019s admission by Aliaksandr Lukashenka that his son Mikalai had joined the army.
