A tactical and special exercise for Interior Ministry personnel from the Vitsyebsk Region, including OMON officers, was held in Pastavy District.<\/p>\n

The police officers practiced “tactics for operating as groups to address group violations of public order and mass riots.”<\/i><\/p>\n

“Law enforcement personnel practiced the most effective methods of interaction between territorial units of the Vitsyebsk Region and the special-purpose police unit. They tested the tactical cohesion of special units, as well as personnel readiness to act in various conditions and situations,”<\/i> the Vitsyebsk Regional Executive Committee’s Department of Internal Affairs reported.<\/p>\n

Similar drills have been held in other cities across Belarus in recent weeks.<\/p>\n
