On September 3, tactical drills on coordinated operations to suppress “mass riots” were held in Baranavichy, the Brest Regional Executive Committee’s Internal Affairs Directorate reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The training was conducted under the supervision of OMON instructors. Police officers practiced containing groups and detaining offenders.<\/p>\n

Similar drills were recently held in Mahiliou and the Vitsebsk and Minsk regions.<\/p>\n
