He was sentenced to five years in prison, to be served in a correctional colony under enhanced-security conditions. He was also ordered to undergo treatment for alcoholism.<\/p>\n<p>The incident underlying the criminal case took place in the Mahiliou district. According to the prosecutor\u2019s office, on December 31, 2025, the man \u201cpurchased a gas-powered air pistol in a neighboring country.\u201d While drunk, he fired the pistol eight times at a colleague while they were traveling in a vehicle that morning, causing him bodily injuries.<\/p>\n<p>That evening, in the Mahiliou district, he fired at cars parked in a lot from the balcony of an acquaintance\u2019s apartment.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;The defendant did not stop there. In his colleague\u2019s apartment, he fired a shot at his mother\u2019s leg, causing the woman bodily injuries&#8221;<\/em>, the prosecutor\u2019s office added.<\/p>\n<p>The man pleaded guilty.<\/p>\n<p>The court granted one of the victim\u2019s claims for compensation for material damage of 1,300 rubles and moral damages of 500 rubles.
