During a daytime conference, Peskov said he was unaware of the purpose of the U.S. military aircraft\u2019s arrival in the Russian capital.<\/p>\n<p>Later, Peskov told Russian news agencies that Ratcliffe had not met with Russian President <strong>Vladimir Putin<\/strong> and that no such meeting had been planned.<\/p>\n<p>Several versions of the purpose of Ratcliffe\u2019s visit to Russia have been raised in the media.
