The man presented border guards with a passport issued under false identity details.<\/p>\n<p>According to the State Border Committee, an automated border control system determined that the photograph in the document matched the holder&#8217;s appearance by 98%. However, the officer noticed that the man&#8217;s age clearly did not correspond to the age stated in the passport.<\/p>\n<p>The foreign national was detained. Administrative proceedings have been initiated against him for attempting to illegally cross the border. He faces a fine of up to 100 basic units.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the use of a forged document may result in criminal liability.
