According to the Ukrainian Air Force <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/kpszsu\/73939\">reported<\/a>, the main targets were the Kyiv and Odesa regions.<\/p>\n<p>Starting at 6 p.m. on Aug. 21, Russian forces used Iskander-M and S-400 missiles, three Kh-31P\/Kh-59 air-launched missiles, as well as \u201cBanderyol\u201d loitering munitions and 217 Shahed-type, \u201cGerbera\u201d and \u201cParody\u201d decoy drones.<\/p>\n<p>As of 9 a.m., three air-launched missiles, six \u201cBanderyols\u201d and 182 drones had been destroyed or suppressed. Hits by airborne weapons were recorded at 41 locations, while debris from downed targets fell at 12 locations.<\/p>\n<p>In Kyiv, a railway worker was killed in a strike on a railway facility in the Darnytskyi district. According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/photo.php?fbid=10165173327835631&amp;set=a.10151473379480631&amp;type=3&amp;ref=embed_post\">Ukrzaliznytsia board chairman <b>Oleksandr Pertsovskyi<\/b><\/a>, the strike was carried out with ballistic weapons. The foreman died at the scene. The other workers were evacuated after the first strike.<\/p>\n<p>The Odesa railway also came under attack. The station building at Rozdilna was damaged.<\/p>\n<p>Russian strikes in the Odesa region also damaged several energy facilities operated by DTEK Odesa Electric Networks. The company <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/dtek_ua\/4475\">reported<\/a> that the damage was significant and that restoring the equipment would take time. After receiving permission from the military and emergency services, energy workers began emergency repairs.
