The damage amounted to about 600 rubles, the Minsk City Executive Committee\u2019s Main Department of Internal Affairs <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/police_minsk\/39109\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A report about the damaged lamp was filed with the Central District Department of Internal Affairs. Criminal investigation officers identified and detained the suspect.<\/p>\n<p>On the day of the incident, the young man was visiting friends, where he drank alcohol. Later, the group called a taxi and went to Zybitskaya Street. During the walk, a conflict broke out between the suspect and one of his friends. After the argument, the young men headed toward the embankment. As the Minsk resident walked past a street lamp, he punched it, breaking the light fixture. The young man\u2019s friend recorded what happened on a phone. The suspect was unable to explain the motive for his actions.<\/p>\n<p>A criminal case has been opened against him on a hooliganism charge.
