The explosion was supposed to be triggered remotely using a mobile phone, but the device failed to detonate because of a malfunction.<\/p>\n<p>After the failed assassination attempt, the suspect fled to Poland. On Aug. 5, ABW officers detained him in Warsaw.<\/p>\n<p>On Aug. 6, the Ukrainian citizen was charged with attempted murder.
