He fled the scene but was later detained. The pedestrian was not wearing a reflective tag.<\/p>\n<p>The second case occurred on the night of Aug. 18 near the village of Bayary in the Polatsk District. A 45-year-old pedestrian was killed, while the driver fled the scene. A 50-year-old man was detained at his place of residence.
