A worker has died. According to the company, the incident occurred on Aug. 17 at the mine of the second mining administration.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;During an inspection of the mine workings of the longwall, mining foreman <b>Dzmitry Piatrovich<\/b> was injured as a result of a roof collapse. The injured man was taken to the Salihorsk Central District Hospital, where he died&#8221;<\/em>, the statement said.<\/p>\n<p>A commission has been set up to investigate the causes and circumstances of the accident. Belaruskali expressed condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.<\/p>\n<p>This is the second fatal workplace accident this month. In early August, at the mine of the fourth mining administration, 29-year-old worker <b>Raman Tysevich<\/b>, an electrical fitter (fitter) on duty and responsible for equipment repairs, <a href=\"https:\/\/reform.news\/en\/29-year-old-worker-dies-at-belaruskali\">died<\/a>. He sustained a fatal injury while connecting an electrical cable to a scraper conveyor of a tunneling complex.
