The rise is linked to the timing and intensity of the harvesting campaign.<\/p>\n<p>In January-July, agricultural production across all categories of farms increased by 12.9% to 18.8 billion rubles. In agricultural organizations, the increase was 13%, with production reaching 18.2 billion rubles.<\/p>\n<p>As of Aug. 1, according to Belstat, grain crops had been harvested from 38.2% of the area, compared with 22.3% on the same date last year. A total of 3 million tonnes of grain had been harvested, 55.3% more than a year earlier. The average yield was 39 centners per hectare, compared with 43.1 centners per hectare last year.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, 75.9% of the area planted with rapeseed had been harvested in Belarus, compared with 45.8% as of Aug. 1 last year. A total of 1.1 million tonnes of rapeseed had been harvested, 2.7 times more than last year. The average yield increased from 21.8 centners per hectare to 30.1 centners per hectare.<\/p>\n<p>Agricultural organizations produced 1.08 million tonnes of livestock and poultry (live weight), 5.4% more than in January-July 2025, 5.43 million tonnes of milk (+2.9%), and 2.0 billion eggs (+1%).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Belstat reported a sharp increase in agricultural production in July.
