The Finance Ministry announced this today.<\/p>\n<p><i>&#8220;The Finance Ministry reports that the auction for the placement of government bonds denominated in U.S. dollars, issue No. 378, conducted through the open joint-stock company Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange on Aug. 14, 2026, was declared unsuccessful,&#8221;<\/i> the ministry said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>The Finance Ministry had offered securities with a face value of $1,000 and a maturity of 2,191 days. The bonds were due to mature on Aug. 13, 2032.<\/p>\n<p>The Finance Ministry did not disclose the reasons why the auction was declared unsuccessful. They could include a lack of demand from investors as well as the interest rates offered by auction participants.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, the Finance Ministry placed two issues of dollar-denominated government bonds with a combined volume of $100 million.
