The figures are based on data from Belstat. Exports had previously declined during the first four months of the year.<\/p>\n<p>Imports of investment goods increased 12.6% to $2.6 billion in January-June.<\/p>\n<p>Trade in intermediate goods is also growing. Exports increased 26.9% to $11.79 billion in the first half of the year, while imports rose 17.4% to $14.39 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Exports of consumer goods increased 29.4% to $8.49 billion in January-June, including food products, which rose 28.3% to $4.68 billion, and non-food products, which increased 30.8% to $3.81 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Imports of consumer goods increased 24.8% to $9.02 billion in the first half of the year, including food imports, which rose 23.5% to $2.38 billion, and non-food imports, which increased 25.3% to $6.65 billion.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Belarusian exports of investment goods rose 0.6% to $2 billion in January-June.
