Coordination Council Speaker <strong>Artsiom Brukhan<\/strong> made the statement on behalf of the council.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;On behalf of the Coordination Council, I extend my condolences to the family, relatives, friends and associates of Aliaksandr Milinkievich on his death.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>He was an intellectual, an educated and cultured person, and for many a true moral guide.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>When it comes to politics, for me personally Aliaksandr Uladzimiravich was an example of a truly Belarusian politician who always put Belarus first while remaining a true democrat.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Aliaksandr Milinkievich entered politics when the Belarusian opposition was still in the minority. In 2006, he brought various parties and movements together around him and made a major contribution to that legendary Ploshcha-2006.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>He was educated, empathetic, brave and decisive.
