The move followed the discovery of weapon suppressors being offered for sale on the online platform.<\/p>\n<p><i>&#8220;During monitoring of one of the popular classified-advertising platforms, at least 3,000 offers were found for the unrestricted purchase of &#8216;muzzle brake compensators&#8217; which, based on their technical characteristics, significantly reduced the sound of a gunshot and therefore could be classified as sound suppressors (devices for silent shooting). For example, some of the muzzle devices on offer reduced the sound of a gunshot by 90%&#8221;<\/i>, the prosecutor&#8217;s office said.<\/p>\n<p>The name of the platform was not disclosed.
