Workers who poorly performed their duties during the harvest campaign have begun arriving at one of the special operations forces units. Sending such people to the army was recently ordered by Aliaksandr Lukashenka<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Defense Ministry called the measure a \u201cgathering with the conscription of persons liable for military service.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the ministry, those who arrived went through a personnel reception point. Those who had not previously taken the military oath swore an oath of allegiance to the homeland.<\/p>\n

\u201cDuring the gathering, which will last up to 60 days, persons liable for military service will take classes to restore their military professional skills. After completing the training course, they will be sent to areas where training and combat missions are carried out\u201d<\/em>, the Defense Ministry said<\/a>.<\/p>\n

According to the deputy head of the combat training department of the special operations forces command, Yauhen Dzianisau<\/strong>, those who arrived will be distributed among units and a rifle battalion will be formed.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe consolidated unit will subsequently be sent to the unit\u2019s training ground, where it will be deployed in concentration areas.<\/em><\/p>\n

At the training ground, persons liable for military service will take classes in the main areas of combat training that ensure the survivability of military personnel and the preservation of the unit\u2019s overall combat capability: weapons, engineering and military medical training.<\/em><\/p>\n

Classes will be held both near the concentration area and at a considerable distance. Daily training sessions are also planned, to be conducted both during daylight hours and under conditions of limited visibility\u201d<\/em>, Dzianisau said.<\/p>\n
