During the night of Aug. 9, Russia launched a massive strike on Odesa and the Odesa region. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine<\/a>, Russia launched ballistic, anti-ship and anti-radiation missiles: Iskander-M\/S-400, Oniks and Kh-31P, as well as 202 attack drones.<\/p>\n

At least eight people were injured in Odesa. Three of them are in moderate condition, the Odesa City Military Administration reports<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Several residential buildings were destroyed in the city and cars were damaged. The port was also damaged.<\/p>\n

Other cities were also targeted. In Kharkiv, a drone destroyed four floors of a residential building. Two people were killed and dozens were injured.<\/p>\n

In Pavlohrad, energy infrastructure facilities and a shopping center were damaged. Nine people were injured, including four children.<\/p>\n
