Russia launched a large-scale missile attack on Kyiv and the surrounding region today.<\/p>\n

According to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service, one person was killed and 15 others were injured in Kyiv. Fires broke out in non-residential buildings and on the premises of an industrial enterprise in the Ukrainian capital.<\/p>\n

In the Kyiv region, authorities have confirmed 14 deaths and 27 injuries. Warehouses and industrial facilities were targeted.<\/p>\n

According to Ukrainian Railways, some of those killed in the Kyiv region were on a railway platform located near the logistics centers that came under attack.<\/p>\n

Ukraine’s Air Force said Russia used 143 aerial attack weapons today, including 115 strike drones, four Zircon missiles, and 24 Iskander-M and S-400 ballistic missiles. The Kyiv region was the primary target of the attack.<\/p>\n

Ukrainian air defenses intercepted or electronically suppressed 98 drones. Authorities recorded one missile strike and 17 drone strikes across 26 locations, while drone debris fell at six additional sites.<\/p>\n
