The Knight Festival in Mstsislau was held for the 19th time, bringing together historical reenactors, craftspeople, music groups and tourists.<\/p>\n

This year, organizers placed a special emphasis on the art of street performances.<\/p>\n

The main events traditionally took place on Castle Hill, including full-contact knight tournaments with swords and lances, battles involving dozens of heavily armed warriors, a castle assault using siege equipment, and mounted performances.<\/p>\n

A craftsmen’s village also welcomed visitors with traditional craft workshops and performances by medieval musicians.<\/p>\n

The evening program featured ethno-rock performances, a fire show on Castle Hill and an overnight disco at the district House of Culture. The festival’s headline act was the Minsk rock band Plem\u044f.<\/p>\n
