Russia’s Saratov region came under a drone attack overnight on Aug. 2. Explosions were reported in Saratov and the neighboring city of Engels, followed by large fires. The Saratov Oil Refinery, an industrial zone and a military air base used by Russia’s strategic aviation were reportedly hit.<\/p>\n
“As a result of the UAV attack, civilian infrastructure in Saratov and Engels has been damaged. All emergency services are working at the scene. According to preliminary information, there are casualties,”<\/i> Saratov Region Governor Roman Busargin<\/strong> wrote on his Telegram channel. He later added that two people had been killed in the attack.<\/p>\n The strike on the Wildberries Novosemeykino warehouse was confirmed by Samara Region Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev<\/strong>\u00a0on his Telegram channel.<\/p>\n “The enemy attacked a Wildberries warehouse in our region using UAVs.
