Russia launched another large-scale strike on Ukraine overnight, using ballistic missiles and drones. Kyiv, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Vinnytsia and Lviv were among the cities targeted.<\/p>\n

As of the morning, one person had been confirmed killed in Kyiv. Two others were injured. Fires broke out at market pavilions, a garage cooperative and a five-storey residential building.<\/p>\n

In Kyiv Region, five people were reported injured. A private house was partially destroyed. Five injured people were pulled from the rubble.<\/p>\n

One person was killed in Poltava District.<\/p>\n

Near Kryvyi Rih, an Iskander-M ballistic missile launched from Voronezh struck a private house directly. Six people were killed in the attack, including girls aged 5 and 12. Eight others were injured, including two children. Search operations at the site were still underway.<\/p>\n

In Lviv, two residential buildings were damaged. Fifteen people were reported injured. Rescue operations were still ongoing.<\/p>\n

Poland scrambled fighter jets and increased the readiness of its air defence systems after Russia used long-range weapons against western regions of Ukraine. Air raid sirens were activated in Lublin Voivodeship because of the threat posed by Russian strikes on Ukraine’s border regions.<\/p>\n
