He ignored the order and continued driving, prompting a pursuit.<\/p>\n<p><i>\u201cThe offender repeatedly ignored the lawful demands of the police officers and attempted to flee. His actions posed a real threat to the safety of other road users, and the inspectors decided to use their service weapon,\u201d<\/i> the statement said.<\/p>\n<p>The driver was identified as a 61-year-old resident of the Lepel District. He showed signs of intoxication. The man was taken for testing, which found an alcohol concentration of 1.04 mg\/l in his breath.<\/p>\n<p>Five administrative offence reports were filed against him, including one for disobeying police orders.
