Annual inflation stood at 4.3% at the end of last month, its lowest level since October 2023.<\/p>\n<p><i>&#8220;The main contribution came from a slowdown in food inflation to 3.4% year on year from 4.9% a month earlier. This was supported by an 11.5% year-on-year decline in fruit and vegetable prices, following a 7.8% fall in May. Lower prices for certain categories of goods were partly linked to the 6.1% year-on-year strengthening of the Belarusian ruble in June,&#8221;<\/i> the EDB said in its weekly review of the economies of its member countries.<\/p>\n<p>The rate of price growth for non-food goods was unchanged, while services inflation accelerated amid rising wages.
