A Ukrainian citizen entering the country in an Opel declared that he was not carrying any prohibited goods. However, while inspecting his bags, a customs officer noticed concealed inserts in two jackets.<\/p>\n<p>Five plastic bags containing a white crystalline substance were removed from the jackets&#8217; inner linings. An examination confirmed that the seized substance was mephedrone.<\/p>\n<p>During operational search activities, officers identified and detained the intended recipient of the shipment, the State Customs Committee&#8217;s press service <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/customs_bel\/13495?single\">said<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A criminal case has been opened over the illegal transportation of a large quantity of a psychotropic substance across the Eurasian Economic Union&#8217;s customs border.
