The advertisement was found to be improper. According to the ministry, the phrase creates the impression that the company\u2019s products are superior to those of other manufacturers.<\/p>\n<p><i>\u201cThe company argued that the word used is a registered trademark. However, this does not justify the use of wording that creates the illusion of unquestionable leadership,\u201d<\/i> the ministry explained.<\/p>\n<p>Another case involved advertising by the self-service laundry company Pink Diamond LLC. The ministry objected to a photograph showing a spacious facility filled with washing machines and dryers.<\/p>\n<p><i>\u201cIn reality, however, the premises were smaller, and there was far less equipment,\u201d<\/i> the ministry said in describing the violation.<\/p>\n<p><i>\u201cVIZABAY LLC advertised itself as an official partner of the KENTAVR insurance company, citing its inclusion in the Ministry of Finance\u2019s register of insurance agents. However, the company had already been removed from that register, so describing itself as a partner was unjustified,\u201d<\/i> the ministry said, describing another case.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, VFS Bay LLC also received a complaint after using the VFS Global name. The visa centre operator did not indicate its own company name or registration number, even though the services were provided by the Belarusian legal entity.<\/p>\n<p><i>\u201cA trademark licensing agreement does not grant the right to replace a company\u2019s legal name with a brand name,\u201d<\/i> the ministry explained.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade has published a roundup of cases involving improper advertising.
