She is currently being held at the migration centre in the town of Myawaddy on the border with Thailand.<\/p>\n<p>The Belarusian woman&#8217;s case was described by Russian citizen <b>Anna L.<\/b>, who was also taken to a scam centre and was freed on June 6. According to her, the Belarusian woman was brought to the migration centre several days ago.<\/p>\n<p><i>&#8220;She is now in contact with the Belarusian Embassy in Vietnam. She is safe and doing well,&#8221;<\/i> the Russian woman <a href=\"https:\/\/tass.ru\/obschestvo\/27897565\">told<\/a> TASS.<\/p>\n<p>It was reported in October 2025 that <a href=\"https:\/\/reform.news\/en\/parents-of-vera-kravtsova-receive-cremation-certificate-from-myanmar-kp-ru\">26-year-old Belarusian <b>Vera Krautsova<\/b> (Vera Kravtsova) had died in Myanmar<\/a>. She had travelled to Bangkok for work but ended up in a scam centre in Myanmar.<\/p>\n<p>Starting today, a <a href=\"https:\/\/reform.news\/en\/belarusians-can-visit-myanmar-visa-free-starting-today\">visa-free regime<\/a> between Belarus and Myanmar has entered into force.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Belarusian citizen has been freed from a fraudulent call centre in Myanmar.
