The forum is being held as part of the Uzbek president&#8217;s visit to Belarus.<\/p>\n<p><i>&#8220;Today, Belarus and Uzbekistan are moving beyond a simple buyer-seller trade model toward deep industrial and technological cooperation. A fundamentally new level of localisation has been achieved in agricultural machinery manufacturing. Alongside production localisation, branded after-sales service is being developed and advanced training for specialised personnel is being provided,&#8221;<\/i> he said.<\/p>\n<p>Shuleika cited the light industry as an example.<\/p>\n<p><i>&#8220;By combining Uzbekistan&#8217;s cotton raw materials, Belarusian flax and modern synthetic fibres, as well as our shared technological expertise, we are creating high-quality products that are in demand,&#8221;<\/i> he added.<\/p>\n<p>The deputy prime minister also highlighted the prospects for cooperation in agriculture and the timber industry.<\/p>\n<p><i>&#8220;There is also significant potential for combining our capabilities in this area. Belarus has a raw material base, many years of experience and substantial production capacity in the field of deep wood processing.
