A traffic police patrol was dispatched to the scene.<\/p>\n<p>Shortly afterwards, officers located the vehicle near the village of Myasota. The driver was ordered to stop but ignored the instruction, prompting a pursuit.<\/p>\n<p><i>&#8220;The offender repeatedly ignored the lawful demands of the police officers and attempted to flee. His actions posed a real threat to the safety of other road users. The inspectors decided to use their service firearm to stop the vehicle,&#8221;<\/i> the Interior Ministry said.<\/p>\n<p>The driver was identified as a 39-year-old resident of Minsk. A medical examination found 1.58 per mille of alcohol in his breath.<\/p>\n<p>Three administrative reports were filed against the man. He was placed in a temporary detention facility.
