The embassy is scheduled to open by Nov. 1, 2026.<\/p>\n<p><i>&#8220;The document was drafted to implement agreements reached with Myanmar at the highest level,&#8221;<\/i> the press release <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/government_by\/4981\">said<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Diplomatic relations between Belarus and Myanmar were established on Sept. 22, 1999.<\/p>\n<p>As reported earlier, <b>Aliaksandr Lukashenka<\/b> visited Myanmar the previous day. He <a href=\"https:\/\/reform.news\/en\/lukashenka-urges-myanmar-s-president-to-launch-a-new-stage-in-bilateral-relations\">held a one-on-one meeting with Myanmar President <b>Min Aung Hlaing<\/b><\/a> and proposed launching <i>&#8220;<em>a new stage in bilateral relations<\/em>.&#8221;<\/i><\/p>\n<p>In addition to Myanmar, Aliaksandr Lukashenka visited Russia, China and Indonesia during his &#8220;extended business trip.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Belarus will open an embassy in Naypyidaw, the Belarusian government&#8217;s press service said.
