This complies with the Euro-3 standard.<\/p>\n<p>The government said the decision is aimed at improving the reliability of fuel supplies in Russia and is being implemented <i>&#8220;as a preventive measure to avoid destabilisation of the domestic motor fuel market.&#8221;<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Russian media had previously reported that the government was considering allowing the production of petrol and diesel fuel meeting standards as low as Euro-2.
