The driver, a 47-year-old Belarusian citizen, presented documents stating that the vehicle was carrying animal feed.<\/p>\n<p>During the inspection of the truck, officers discovered 560,000 packs of cigarettes without Polish excise stamps. The shipment was valued at 11.5 million zlotys (just over $3 million).<\/p>\n<p>The District Prosecutor&#8217;s Office in Bia\u0142ystok has launched an investigation into the truck driver, as well as a 37-year-old Polish citizen who owns the transport company.
