The deficit in trade in goods and services totaled $325 million, down 61% from the same period last year.<\/p>\n<p>Exports of goods increased 11.9% to $13.7 billion in January-April, while imports rose 10.6% to $15.62 billion. The goods trade deficit amounted to $1.9 billion, up 1.8% from a year earlier.<\/p>\n<p>Exports of services grew 28% over the four-month period to $4.28 billion. Imports of services increased 17.1% to $2.7 billion.
